  1. Why should it be one or the other? Why cant one change the world and oneself if needed? In any event, isn’t change inevitable unless of course we want to go the way the dinosaurs did!!??

  2. I agree with you Anayika. Well said. I think the most basic thing is to learn changing ourselves with time!

  3. I will say your thoughts represents reality, however we can say change starts from us or change is inevitable, but at the end of the day we come to know that we changed ourselves, not in the course of changing the world but to survive in it, and most interestingly the one who does it faster is considered as wiser and the one who fights back loses himself…there could be long debate over this issue that what ought to be or what a man must do and so on, but I would agree with your thoughts, your argument may be harsh but it is more real and this is how world moves at larger level, because everybody can not be Gandhi, Che or Lenin….

  4. its easy to say but difficult to do it. we everyone always said that change is inevitable but always we fail to complete this task. we are waiting to do the change and see the change…

  5. its easy to say but difficult to do. everyone we are always said that change is inevitable but some groups of people are tried to do in right ways. we are always waiting for the change but its just a quelling process of our mind.

  6. Great observation, Anayika Chopra. Its a nice idea. I read book named “Essential Rumi”. There one of the same kind of thought was expressed by Mawlānā Jalāl-ad-Dīn Muhammad Rūmī (Persian: مولانا جلال الدین محمد رومی), also known as Mawlānā Jalāl-ad-Dīn Muhammad Balḫī (Persian: محمد بلخى), but known to the English-speaking world simply as Rumi , , was a 13th century Persian (Tādjīk) poet, Islamic jurist, and theologian Rumi and that is : “Yesterday I was clever so I went to change the world but today I am wise so I am going to change myself.”
