The Department Of Sociology, South Asian University had organised an one day trip to the Nizamuddin for the students of 2nd semester (2012-2014). This exploration was conducted on behalf of the Anthropology class as an added experience to the overall course.

Nizamuddin is a locality in New Delhi which is famous for the Hazratt Nizamuddin Dargah. This trip was not only a informative and learning experience but was also filled with fun. We were divided into groups to collect information and observe. We interacted with the locals and scanned our way through many shops and eateries and finally the trip came to an end with a qawwali performance. The teachers accompanying the class were Dr. Fareed Uddin and Dr. Dev Pathak. Attached below is the link of the power point presentation which contains detail information about the overall trip.
