ගං උතුරා වතුර ගලා මුළු කොළඹම පිරුණයි
අහස හඬා කම්පා වී මහවැසි ඇද වැටු ණයි
දෙගොඩ තලා ආ වතුරෙන් මුළු කොළඹම පිරුණයි
රත්න ශ්රී කිව්ව වගේ රෙද්ද කඩන් ආවයි
කූඹි වගේ සිය ගණනක් ගං වතුරේ ගිලුණයි
තවත් හුඟක් පස් කඳු යට නැතිවී සැඟවූවයි
අතුරුදහන් වූවන් තව හෝ ගාණක් හිටියයි
අපිත් එක්ක මුළු සේසත වතුරෙන් යටවූවයි
මුළු මාධ්ය පරපුරේම හිත් කම්පා වූවයි
චැරිටි වලින් ගජ රාමෙට ටැක්ස් අඩුවෙනු දුටුවයි
අපෙන්ම ගෙන අපිටම දී වුන් එකවුන්ට්ස් හැදුවයි
සහන යාත්රා දාගෙන ලංකාවෙම බෙදුවයි
හොඳින් ඉන්න කාලෙට අපි ගහගත්තත් බෙදිලා
ගංවතුරෙන් හැම හිතක්ම දියවෙනවා රිදිලා
තම්බින්ටයි දෙමළුන්ටයි දෙනවා අපි දුවලා
ඒ වුණාට උණු වෙනවා පිං බැංකුව දැකලා
බත් පැකට්ද, කිරි පැකට්ද වතුර හිටං බෙදලා
පිං එකවුන්ට් වැඩි කරගමු අපි ඔක්කොම පිරිලා
ඊළඟ ගංවතුර බලන් එතකන් සොමි කරලා
ඒ වතුරට බෙදනව අපි සුපර් මාර්කට් හිඳිලා
ඒ අව් අස්සේ කොළඹට නෙලුම් මලක් පිපිලා
පෙති එක දෙක ඇහැරෙනවා මුළු කොළඹම පිරිලා
හුඟ කලකට කලින් තිබූ ඒ බම්බුව දැකලා
හඳගම කීවා මතකයි පුමු ලිඟුවක් කියලා
ඒ විසාල නෙලුම් මලට පිපෙන්න ඉඩ දීලා
මුළු රටක්ම විලක් වුණා මහා වතුරෙන් පිරිලා
පෙති ඔක්කොම ඇහැරෙන්නට කල් යල් ඇත බලලා

Drip drops from skies
To thundering thrives
And, Colombo’s trying
To skinny dip in nights
The lives submerged
The lives disappeared
The lives shattered
And we are devastated
Drip drop drip drop drip drop
Crocodile tears felt in vain
Down their sympathetic face
Towards our pathetic fate
Fake it good charity
And bring down tax liability
Pick pocketed generosity
For the sake of popularity
In the days of sane
We fight in vain
The pouring heavy rain
Caused the calamity of pain
But now we all are same
Floods of flood relief donations
Sent by people with golden hearts
Oh…please Karma give some break
To their never-ending crave
Over the comfort
Till they attain Nirvana
Gigantic lotus bloom
In the middle of doom
Nothing but a loom
No change in any soon
There used to be a bamboo
In the center of Colombo
No longer it’s a Boo!
May be like a big dildo
Let Colombo pour in rain
Let the tower of lotus bloom
Let some sniff its scent
Let others sink to die
